Romans 1:24-32

– As Bible believers, we must warn them of the teaching of God’s Word! If you do not warn them, you are affirming them and their lifestyle.
– When man’s rebellion against God grows strong, he determines to go his own way! Man’s freedom is not without responsibility.
- Dishonoring Their Bodies (Vs. 24-25)
- God “gave them over” to be controlled by the thing they preferred to serve in place of serving Him.
- Man’s natural development is not upward but downward. He does not evolve but devolve. Mankind is not ascending to God but descending from God.
- A False Image of God leads to a False Understanding of Sex.
- When truth and lie are placed side by side they choose to serve the creature – or man’s reasoning, rather than the Creator.
- Degrading Their Passion (Vs. 26-27)
- NOWHERE in the animal kingdom do species of the same gender mate.
- Homosexuality is “unnatural”; lesbianism and homosexuality are CONTRARY to God’s creation.
- In other words, God created humankind male and female; God instituted marriage as a heterosexual union.
- Depraving Their Minds (Vs. 28-32)
- What man is now deeming “normal and proper”, God is calling it wrong and unacceptable.
- Homosexual is a descriptive adjective, not an unchanging noun.
- Devotion is Possible (1 Cor. 6:9-12)
“Conviction is living my life according to God’s standard and God’s truth. Compassion is the awareness that I need to love sinners, always remembering that I am one too!”
