Malachi 2:10-16
- Profaning God’s Covenant (2:10-16)
- Treachery (Vs. 10-11, 14)
- Hypocrisy (Vs. 12-13)
- In matters of ethics and morals, there are many things in society that are legal but are not biblical.
- Purity (Vs. 15)
- The basic issue was loyalty to the God of Israel and the mainaining of a godly home.
- Hostility (Vs. 16)
- Death (Rom. 7:1-3)
- Sexual Sin (Matt. 19:9)
- Desertion (1 Cor. 7:12-16)
Strong families begin with strong marriages – a man and a woman who love each other and want to live each for the other and both for the Lord. Anything less than that is less than God’s will.
