2 Thessalonians 3:1-5

  • Asking for Prayer is not a sign of weakness; it is a mark of Dependence.
  1. Pray for God’s Truth to Spread (Vs. 1)
  2. Pray for Protection from Evil (Vs. 2)
    • But believers were praying for him, and God delivered him from the mob.
  3. Pray for Hearts to Overflow with God’s Love (Vs. 3-4)
    • It is great to tell someone you are praying for them, but it is better to tell them WHAT you are asking God to do in their lives.
  4. Pray for Believers to Persevere in Christ (Vs. 5)
    • The only way we can finish the race is by keeping our eyes on Jesus.
    • “God is aiming at something the saint cannot see, but our Lord continues to stretch and strain, and every once in a while the saint says, ‘I can’t take anymore.'”
