2 Thessalonians 3:1-5

- We cannot share what we do not believe, and we can best share that which we have practiced ourselves.
- Dr. Donald Coggan, Archbishop of Canterbury once said, “It is their task to feed the sheep – not to entertain the goats.”
- Asking for Prayer is not a sign of weakness; it is a mark of Dependence.
- Pray for God’s Truth to Spread (Vs. 1)
- Pray for Protection from Evil (Vs. 2)
- But believers were praying for him, and God delivered him from the mob.
- Pray for Hearts to Overflow with God’s Love (Vs. 3-4)
- It is great to tell someone you are praying for them, but it is better to tell them WHAT you are asking God to do in their lives.
- Pray for Believers to Persevere in Christ (Vs. 5)
- The only way we can finish the race is by keeping our eyes on Jesus.
- “God is aiming at something the saint cannot see, but our Lord continues to stretch and strain, and every once in a while the saint says, ‘I can’t take anymore.'”
