Joy is not a NICETY in the Christian life; it is an absolute NECESSITY.
A Christian without joy is a contradiction.
- The Joy of Jesus is Abounding Joy (John 15:11)
- The only way you can rejoice ALWAYS is to rejoice in the LORD.
- Happiness depends on what happens; Joy depends on the Lord.
- Happiness is like a thermometer resisting conditions; Joy is like a thermostat that controls conditions.
- The Joy of Jesus is Abiding Joy (John 15:11)
- It is a Steadfast Joy (John 16:20)
- It is Triumphant in Tribulation (2 Corinthians 7:4)
- It is Lasting in Losses (Hebrews 10:34)
- If your GOODS “Go” and you lose your Joy, you are receiving your joy from the wrong place.
- It is Abundant in Affliction (John 15:11)
- How Do We Abide In Jesus?
- Surrender (John 15:4-5)
- Dependence (John 15:5)
- When you think you are SOMETHING, then God is not EVERYTHING! And He cannot be EVERYTHING until you become NOTHING.
- Rest (John 15:9)
- Obedience (John 15:10)
- Rejoicing (John 15:11)
