  1. The Principle of Submission
    • What is Submission? One equal, voluntarily placing himself under another equal, that God may be glorified. (1 Pt. 2:13)
    • Authority and Submission are Heads and Tails of the same coin.
  2. The Places of Submission
    • A Godless Government (1 Pt. 2:14, 16-17)
      • Where are we to Honor?
        1. Social Life
        2. Church Life
        3. Spiritual Life
          • If there is one thing we need in America today, it is to bring back the fear of Almighty God.
        4. Political Life (1 Tim. 2:1-2)
    • A Bad Boss
    • Mean Mates (1 Pt. 3:1-4)
  3. The Problems with Submission
    • Submission is not always the same as Obedience. (Acts 5:28-29)
    • ALL Human Authority is Limited! God’s Authority is Unlimited. (Rom. 12:18)
    • Obedience to God always trumps obedience to man.
    • Higher law takes precedence so our ultimate allegience is to Almighty God.
  4. The Price of Submission (1 Pt. 2:19-24)
    • God gives Authority to those who understand submission.

I don’t know how the election is going to end up, but I am thankful there is no election up there! And there will not be an Inauguration, but one day there will be a Coronation!
